Linen cap
This linen cap is based on the relics associated with St. Bridget of Sweden (1303-1373). It most likely dates to the 14th century, but the exact age is unknown.
Similar caps can be seen in medieval manuscripts dated from mid 13th century to late 15th century, for example The Maciejowski Bible (France, circa 1244-1254) and Tacuinum Sanitatis (Italy, circa 1370-1400).
Material: 100% linen.
It is completely hand sewn with waxed white linen thread using running stitch, back stitch and whipstitch.
Fits hat size 57-58 (EU)
